The International Baccalaureate (IB) Program is a two-year comprehensive and rigorous university-level curriculum that demands the best from motivated students and is taught by IB instructors. The curriculum includes a range of academic subjects and is offered in over 120 countries and at more than 920 high schools in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. The demanding curriculum prepares the IB Diploma Program (IB DP) candidate for success in any subject they choose at the best universities in the world. By being an IB Diploma candidate, your child will stand out on university applications, and this may provide more scholarship opportunities.
Florence High School is the first authorized IB World School in Pinal County, AZ. The first class of IB DP students started the Diploma Program in fall 2010.
All IB teachers have been trained at IB Diploma Program workshops, ensuring our students will be instructed using the prestigious IB DP curriculum.
