  • 2019-2020 STUDENT ACCIDENT INSURANCE

Markel logo icon Student Accident insurance is becoming more and more important to families due to lack of other insurance for your child(ren), or having major medical plans with ever increasing deductibles & co-insurance requirements.  The Student Accident insurance program helps families cope with these issues in a very cost effective manner. We, because of this, feel it is of the utmost importance that we let you know about Markel, http://markelaz.sevencorners.com, to allow all our parents to review the information and determine its value to their individual family's situation.

  • SYNOVIA'S "HERE COMES THE BUS"

Here comes the bus icon Hello FUSD Parents and Guardians,
This year, FUSD is excited to launch Synovia’s “Here Comes The Bus.”   This new program will soon allow parents to follow their student’s bus ride information including notifications when they enter/exit the bus.

We will be rolling this program out in phases.  Phase 1 will begin on July 17th and will include the issuing of student ID cards with unique barcodes for each student.  Beginning in the first week of school students will be required to scan their badge as they enter and exit the bus to make sure the system is working correctly.

Phase 2 will include a Parent App containing real-time information about their student when they are on the bus.

If you have any questions about this program, please contact our transportation department at (520) 868-8800.

    Respectfully,
    Shannon Weber
    Director of Transportation

  • CHILDCARE OPTIONS FOR FUSD FAMILIES

Right At School icon The Florence Unified School District welcomes all families to enroll students in their local school. As a public school system, the district provides instruction and support for students in kindergarten through grade 12 during regular school hours.

However, because many families require childcare options before and after the school day the district has contracted with a childcare provider called Right At School to offer these services. Providing more options for families has been an interest of the school board and district administration.

Right At School curriculum features hands-on learning, multi-sensory activities, child-driven projects, daily fitness, team building, and leadership development.
