2nd QUARTER SEASON CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to an oversight, the Baseball/Softball season will not be played during Quarter 2 (Q2) of the 2020 season. The FUSD baseball and softball fields will be overseeded during this time and no events will be permitted.

As a result of this, we will offer SOCCER during Quarter 2 (Q2).

SOCCER will begin on October 5^th, 2020.  

We will keep you informed on Quarter 3 (Q3) and Quarter 4 (Q4) athletic seasons as we make decisions.

CHILDCARE OPTIONS FOR FUSD FAMILIES

The Florence Unified School District welcomes all families to enroll students in their local school. As a public school system, the district provides instruction and support for students in kindergarten through grade 12 during regular school hours.

However, because many families require childcare options before and after the school day the district has contracted with a childcare provider called Right At School to offer these services. Providing more options for families has been an interest of the school board and district administration.

Right At School curriculum features hands-on learning, multi-sensory activities, child-driven projects, daily fitness, team building, and leadership development.

AZ TAX CTDS CODE

If you have filled out and submitted an AZ Tax Credit Form for a Florence Unified School District student, or school, please note:
In accordance with Extracurricular Activity (ECA) Tax Credit Statute 43.1089, the Arizona Department of Revenue is now requiring taxpayers to report the school’s County Code, Type Code and District Code & site Number (CTDS) on their Arizona income tax return.  In order to comply with this requirement, the attached letter has been prepared so that each site can provide this information when requested.
