We will have the following office hours during Fall Break:
September 25th - September 28th: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
September 29th: CLOSED
October 2nd - October 6th: CLOSEDOctober 9th: Classes resume at 8:00 a.m.

FUSD's Community Education will be hosting their annual Penny Drive:
September 4th - September 24th
All donations received will be used to purchase board games/puzzles for our local children's hospitals - Banner Children's Hospital & Phoenix Children's Hospital.
** Prizes will be awarded to the top class at each school **

DISCOVERY CLUB AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
The Town of Florence will be providing a fun and educational space, after school, for children in grades K-6 enrolled at Florence K8 or Anthem K8. Transportation to the Viney Jones Library and Community Center is provided!
Monday - Friday: School Dismissal to 6:00 p.m.

ONLINE EVENT TICKET SALES
All of our school sports, activities and events will be conveniently available through HomeTown Ticketing. You will have the option to purchase ahead of time, on the web, or via their HomeTown Fan App.
For all K8 Athletics, ticket prices will be $4 for adults and $3 for students.

INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE (IB) PROGRAM
Anthem K-8 School is the only fully authorized K-8 school in Pinal county to deliver the IB(International Baccalaureate) program. IB is a comprehensive program of study. All students in grades 6th-8th will take each of the courses listed:
- Language and Literature (Formerly ELA)
- Individuals and Societies (Formerly Social Studies)
- Language Acquisition (All students will take Spanish)
- Science
- Mathematics
- Physical and Health Education (Minimum of 50 hours per year)
- Design (Minimum of 50 hours per year)
- The Arts (Includes: Visual Arts, Band, or Choir) (Minimum of 50 hours per year)
