What: Penny Wars Fundraiser
When: April 23 to May 4, 2018
Why: A former student in our district, Jacob Stilson passed away. He was diagnosed with rare form of leukemia. All money raised during the Penny War fundraiser will be donated to his family for funeral costs.
How it works:
Mrs. Smith has 15 pennies in her jar. A student from another class drops a nickel and a dime in Mrs. Smith’s jar. This will put Mrs. Smith at 0 cents.
Pennies are a plus and any silver or paper money is a negative. Please send any loose change you may have and are willing to donate. If students bring in silver coins, they can put it in another class’ jar.
Thank you for your support!
